“ Tacos are great. Lively atmosphere great for a social gathering or just a quick bite. Service is great but be prepared to wait 30-60 mins before food! ”
“ Food had very nice and complex flavors. Everything we ordered was really good. We had carnitas tacos, suadero tacos, pollo tacos, elote en vaso and the roasted sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes were topped with a nice crema and sprinkled with pumpkin seeds and golden raisins. My favorite taco was the brisket one. Lean cut of meat with guacamole topping. Service was really quick. ”
“ Exceptional tacos and agua frescas! There was a line around the building when we arrived on a Friday night (for good reason), and you order at the window before sitting inside or outside. Casual vibes, and each individual food item came out as it was ready. I was blown away by the perfect seasoning on everything- all the meats, the sauces, and the handmade tortillas. The Baja shrimp and carnitas tacos were so tasty! I also loved the hibiscus agua fresca, and my husband's horchata was the best I've ever tried. Would absolutely recommend- it's very much worth the wait! ”
“ If you want to go to a hipster place in El Paso for tacos, then I would recommend! Casual ordering at the window and there is self seating. The employees were extremely welcoming and provided great service. I found this place on Maps and saw that it had great reviews, so we made a stop for a small dinner just to try it! The employee who took my order at the window was very friendly. Tried the seasonal taco which was a chipotle marinated Jamaica (vegan), suadero, carnitas and the crispy ejotes. Presentation of the tacos were spot on. The corn tortillas were super pretty- half pink color, reminded me of the watermelon colored radish. Each taco had their own sauces or guac and because it was all flavored and seasoned well, it didn't even need the salsa! But top your taco off with salsa for a kick!! My favorite was the suadero but my partner liked the carnitas best since it was fatty. The jamaica was very good too! It had a smokey flavor from the chipotle! It reminded me of jackfruit. The crispy ejotes was A LOT for 2 people. We kind of regretted getting it because our bodies couldn't handle eating that much fried food for dinner. But it was delish! If you have at least 3 people, then get it! It was packed when we went inside to fund seating. An employee approached us as he saw us looking for a table and said we could have one of the tables that was occupied since he was helping them move over to a bigger table. ”
“ I had heard about Taconeta from a friend a fee years back but never had a chance to try it (I live 9 hours away lol). We were able to order take out when we were in town for Thanksgiving and I am now regretting not visiting earlier ! I had one of their Baja Fish Tacos and OH MY GOD, they were so flavorful! I loved their home made tortillas as well. The slaw and the mayo paired perfectly with the fish and I loved that the breading stayed crispy, even on a takeout order ! Fantastic taco for sure ! I was also able to try their Grilled Elote and OMG, I was wishing I would have ordered two! The elote was definitely the stand out for me ! It was grilled perfectly but still super juicy! The spice was a nice kick, nothing too overpowering. I can't talk about the ambiance since we didn't really eat there, but it looked like a very chill place. Kind of like people go and hang out there for some good tacos and drinks. Can't wait to go back! ”
“ I came with a larger group but this place is best for like a smaller group. We ordered our food together yet each taco came out one by one even before the order the finished. The aesthetics are amazing. The tacos were good but the elote is what stood out to me. It was amazing. Definitely tasty. ”
“ Fun times tasting the El Paso Mexican fare. This location was next to a coffee shop and had a private parking lot on its opposite side. It has indoor and covered outdoor seating. When we got there for a later dinner it was almost busy...we ordered and then a line formed at the counter. I think Liz ordered one of everything. She came back with two refreshing and delicious margaritas. The tacos and elote were great. We had a lot. The aguachile de camaron was light and spicy. Billed as shrimp in a spicy cucumber lime juice, with ginger, Serrano, and cilantro, garnished with avocado and pickled onion. Really good, not filling at all. My favorite taco was Baja shrimp, but I also enjoyed the suadero. The suadero taco was a preserved brisket with cilantro and onion. The baja shrimp was a tempura fried shrimp with cabbage slaw and a Chile mayo drizzle. I enjoyed an elote on a stick (and I'm a cup). By the bite or by the spoonful, every bite tasted of chili powder, lime and corika cheese. It was a wonderful experience at taconeta. ”
“ Insanely delicious! Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical about waiting in line because I always feel nervous when it comes to how much longer I can go without food. Thankfully I was distracted with my friends in line and it may have taken about 30 mins or so. i do love how it's a pretty efficient system. They take your order at the window and you take your number to a table. They then find your number to deliver your order. We probably waited another 10ish minutes before food started coming in. We started with the tempura green beans and shrimp cocktail. So good!! I can tell they're trying to get the green beans out too fast though because I noticed the stems were still on the beans. They're definitely not edible so I ended up trying to eat everything but that part. Tacos were amazing! I tried their baja shrimp, mushroom, and El Teofilo which is shrimp and cheese. They all come with green and red hot sauce which are perfect. I also tried their pepino agua fresca and it went perfectly with everything. Fun atmosphere outdoors with even more fun decorations inside. The music isn't too loud neither so it made for a perfect night with friends! Can't wait to come back. ”
“ Amazing service, delicious food, and a really cool place, this was a highly recommended spot that we had to try out during our time in El Paso. It was a bit confusing to find at first since the block is a collection of stores, but once we saw the outdoor seating and ordering window we figured it out. It was quite busy for early evening on Friday so we sat at the bar, which was fun because we got to watch everyone (and there were lots) come by to get food and drinks. We started with the tostadas, which were just packed with guacamole, seeds, and raisins and were super flavorful - I was surprised by how much the raisins added to it; We also got 4 tacos, which weren't the biggest but were really good. And the sweet potatoes that were charred and nicely seasoned. Our bartender was very helpful in offering different mezcal and letting us try some things somewhat local to the area and we really appreciated and liked it all. ”
